This is a pretty risky combo to try, but can works wonderful if you can get these two cards in the same hand. Generally, people give you curse cards because of action cards they play. But do not forget that you can buy curses for free just like you can buy coppers for me. So when you get a curse in your hand with the ambassador you can play it and give each of your opponents -1 victory points and flood their deck with an additional useless card!
