A ridiculously powerful card if used proper. Most players at first fail to grasp the power of this card thinking that trashing up to 4 cards is pointless because they don't gain anything in return; Who wants to get rid of something and get nothing in return right? But the idea is to thin out your deck so that you can quickly play the cards you want to play. At the cost of only 2, its definitely worth a buy at the beginning of the game to trash cards you don't want (eg. Estates, Coppers).
